General Description
Jigging machines are designed for separating light and heavy minerals apart by utilizing their different sedimentation speed in vertical alternating water flow. The machine is suitable for metal ore classification such as placer containing tungsten and gold, tin concentration ore etc. It is one of the modern gravity separation equipment, which can be used to separate fine grain materials, but also can be used to separate coarse materials.
Jigger machine separation belongs to deep groove sorting operation in ore dressing work. It adopts water as beneficiation medium, separates the minerals by use of gravity differences between the mineral ore and gangue.
Jigger machine is widely used in manganese ore, Lead-zinc mine, lapis lazuli, barite ore, fluorite, pyrite, limonite, hematite, mercury and other minerals re-election. The jig machine is applied to the separation operation. It has a good effect on the separate of big size raw ore and the recovery of large non-ferrous metal smelting slag.
The traditional jig machine is mostly driven by circular eccentric, and its jump tide pulsation curve is mostly sinusoidal waveform. The rising and falling water flow speed and action time produced by the diaphragm movement are basically the same. Therefore, it is not conducive to the loose jump tide bed layer and the stratification of mineral particles by specific proportion, which affects the selection ratio and recovery rate of the equipment.
